Born in Brittany in the 70′s and now living in India. Nikolaz Godet has photographed in more than 30 countries over the last 10 years. He came for the first time in India in 2005 and since 7 years he made it his home. He decided first to explore and document the diversity of the subcontinent through black and white photography, from the remote villages of the countryside to the bustling megalopoles.
Beside he has covered eclectic events, from the Formula 1 Grand Prix to the Fashion Week, the Anna Hazare’s uprising and the Kumbh Mela, the largest pilgrimage in the world. He worked with clients like Red Bull and the FIA that awards the world motorsport champions. He has specialized in portraiture, lifestyle, travel and fine art photography.
When he is not traveling for personal projects or working on assignments, he led few times a year workshops through India, Tibet and Nepal.
